yes, i use it because it is super easy to use. my wife's audi a4 it's really complicated and there's too many settings, etc. etc.
all in all, it saves gas and reduces the need for speed!!
but i'm getting older so I don't care too much for speed anymore

I like it, and use it. Found I can use it as low as 26 mph. Great for when in a long construction zone.

I use my cruise control all the time. I was going to have the dealership take a look at it next time I take it in for an oil change because of the drastic downshifting it does on inclines, but after reading this post, it seems everyone else is having the same problem with the automatics.

i like to use it on long(ish) trips,so anything over 45 minutes away.I use it to help me control road rage, save gas and avoid speeding. It is really easy to speed in our trucks, just because its so smooth and powerful

I like in Southern California so we don't get a lot of hills. I have no complaints but wish I didn't vote until I took it up a few inclines or hills.

Its nice as long as the road is level. Otherwise it goes nuts on hills... my mothers Camery did the same thing

On my recent road trip from South Carolina to Texas, I got about 21 mpg according to my scanguage II.

    V6 Prerunner DC

Cruise was set at about 3-5 over speed limit with several traffic jams

On the way back, cruise set at 5-7 over most of the way and several more traffic jams, about 19-20 mpg

Id say thats a pretty good spectrum of terrian and speeds (can't remember downshifting very often), and over 1100 miles each way, so I think its a pretty accurate MPG for my truck.

I love cruise btw, only thing I don't like, is when everyone seems to be going slower, even when I only have it set at 3-6 over speed limit. If I set it any slower, I get passed all the time. Can't seem to find that sweet spot.

I rarely notice the hill climb issue, it does downshift occasionally but randomly too. I drive to work 26 miles each way all highway with multiple hills. Cruise set at 69-70 every time. On some hills it will downshift, then the next day it won't on the same hill. Sometimes I'll go weeks w/out a downshift, sometimes it'll downshift almost every hill.

Can't live without it as I drive to Illinois from South Carolina several times a year. Installed OEM in my 2.7...can't believe it is not standard on all vehicles now.
