just got an 03' taco 4x4 trd SR5 prerunner and was wanting to put some 33/13.50/17 on this bad boy.. Will the 3" body lift do the job and is there anything else needed? I don't have the cash for a suspension lift, and im not planning on doing any off roading just want the bad azz look :p

And if anyone can recommend a good brand that would be helpfull, along with where to pick up some decent wheel & tire packages...

Virgin to the truck world so please excuse the trivial questions

so basically just get a set of the bilstein 5100 shocks and im good to go, nothing else is needed?

saw a set on ebay for $387 buy it now free ship, is that a good price? and can the install be done at home or will it need to be done by a shop?

For 4 of them or two of them?

You would need a AAL for the rear.

You can do it at home if you are comfortable using a spring compressor. Otherwise I wouldn't....

Bros be lovin' the body lifts.

People who know what they're doing, however, like to go with a real suspension lift.

    My $.02, bring the hate.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Yeah i don't know if your going to clear 13.5's i have 12.5's and I had to cut the fenders just to drive it on the street. And your going to need new wheels too something with a 3.75 or 4" back spacing. I have 3.75" BS and rub the frame at full lock going backwards.

The rear shocks don't provide any lift.
