    :eek: Don't ever get hurt! Actually, I would love working in an area like that. The more rural, the better. Unlike the departments that are 5 minutes from the hospital, us country medics have to actually use our brains and know what we're doing. :cool: I've worked for city departments too, and I don't like it.

    The worse part is the closest hospital is run by idiots. When I broke my thumb i drove 2 hrs to another hsospital just so I didn't have to deal with them

    Is he military? I've noticed over the years that 90% of the pilots are ex-military, because they make the best damn pilots. If he isn't military, then he's just an awesome pilot. They only hire the best of the best, so I'm sure he is proud of what he does. :thumbsup:

    I know. :pout: There are other options out there. They haven't said the cause of death yet, but if they murdered that poor little angel...... :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: And even if it was accidental or SIDS, they could have just called 911.

    He was security forces and then worked for LE out in LA. That's where he learned to fly on his own. He wanted a slot on the helicopter unit out there, but it didn't work out. After he retired for medical reasons, he started flying for a medevac. He loves it.
