I have a 2006 Tacoma Pre Runner. It is a 6 speed manual transmission. I have noticed that when I am changing gears i get an almost vibration shudder sound and feel coming from my truck when I shift into 3rd gear. This continues all the way to 6th. The vibration stops when I let off the gas but continues when I get back on it. Any suggestions as to what this might be and is it going to cost me an arm and a leg to fix? Thank you for your help.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Sounds like a possible u-joint failure.

I had the same problem in mine. It was a bad ujoint. I ignored it and the joint went bad and wore away the flange that connects the drive shaft to the rear end. Only cost about 50 to fix but a $15 u joint is way easier and cheaper
