Shite. That was my favorite feature in my Ranger Edge...so easy to clean w/a shopvac and then follow with a wet towel. Hope they keep that offering in future models.

So now, let's shift our focus to the 2013 changes again ;)

Was the dealership able to run a price for you to see if it has changed much? That is my deciding factor in running and grabbing a 2011 or waiting. The changes to the look are very subtle and being so new to looking at these I probably couldn't really spot them unless pointed out.

No money, all went to truck...
This truck would be perfect if it had dual vvti.

Looks like I'll be waiting another 2 years god damnit.

I hope that the Entune system can be retro fitted into the previous models. That would be sweet if so.

I don't see anything - unless you value the interior changes that much.

I'll be waiting for the full redesign without a doubt.

According to a post by Toyota USA on their Facebook page, this will not be possible.

Looks like the 4Runner steering wheel. Cool.

So the X-Runner still keeps the "flux capacitor" subwoofer.

Did you see where they screwed up on the interior photos?

The picture with the iPod connected to the auxiliary audio jack is the old (current) design. Look directly above to see the new design. Two 12V ports side-by-side. Where is the USB port they're talking about?

nice, the "2 Auxiliary Audio Jack" image in the 2012 brochure is the exact same photo as the 2011 website photo... Minus a little photoshopping of the knob and shifter numbers.

I'm not too surprised at that, boat manufacturers do the same thing on years that share the exact same design.

Sorry Seligman, we must have been posting at the same time.

I wish they'd quit adding bullshit electronic upgrades and improve other things.

The last page of the brochure says all packages include the Homelink Universal Transceiver for controlling garage door openers, gates, house alarms, house lights, etc.

Just another feature I don't need.

That's a "finally" feature. My PoS 2000 Maxima even has this. It's really handy, but not groundbreaking in 2011 :)

Who knows what will really be possible; I'm sure they want to quash all of that talk since it hasn't even hit the showroom floor yet. But I imagine it would be a pain...at least to get the subscription service as soon as they found out it wasn't in a 2012+.

Although, with all of the crazy/impressive things the members on here come up with...it may end up being feasible sooner than we think. :D

    No problem.

I think it's strange the USB port is not visible next to the audio jack...unless the lighting is poor.

Let's hope the USB port isn't inside the center console between the seats. I rented a Corolla a couple years ago and the extra 12V port was located there.

To retrofit the Entune head unit and obtain full functionality, you'd probably need the whole system including the sharkfin antenna and run wires through the headliner.

Do you think with 18" wheels there are any larger tires other than the stock P265/60 R18 offered on the Upgraded Sport Pkg that you can put on without needing a lift? I'm not looking for seriouse off road, but want it to be capable. I was thinking 16" wheels but the 18's look good.

    Good points.

I wonder how they will manage subscriptions for it? Since all 2012's come with a complimentary 3-year subscription...they will know something is up when you start asking for a new subscription...

Although, I'm not sure why they would care if you pay for it?

I doubt they will offer anything larger than 265/60-18 from the factory/dealer, however, the size of the rim won't affect what you can fit while it's at stock height. Nothing changed in the suspension it wouldn't seem.
