anyone got an idea what this is....

It was on a 03 Tacoma on the net.... just curious what the heck it means.... if I had to guess I would say something with the cup holders... but not a clue...

 

hmm....never seen that before. looks like it may be a cup holder illumination button or something tho.

 

I'd also like to know but can't find anything about it.

 

The pic of the drink is an obvious and I believe the ILL is short for Illumination.


Maybe the word is actually SPILL and the SP is worn off. Kinda James Bond like. If you have a hottie sitting next to you, you hit the SPILL button, the drink pours onto her soft fuzzy sweater and needs to be removed and treated before the stain sets in. Just thinking.....

What? Like you never thought of things like this? I had a friend who had an extra windshield washer reservoir hooked up complete with pump. It contained an adult type beverage. He had the hose running to the glovebox where he had an awaiting cup.

 

Not sure that a cup holder illumination is an amazing thing... unless we are talking about one at the movies... in those cup holders... lol

you guys are all wrong. you put a drink in the holder and push the button. if it will make you ILL (sick) then it will light up red. if it is good, then it will light up green. I cant believe you guys have never seen this before.

Ok Albert Edison....it's pretty obvious it's a one of a kind mod. When I had my Yaris...there was a mod about putting LEDs in the cupholders. Some did it so they came on with the headlight switch, others ran a seperate switch. What is the difficult part to figure out?

 

and you probably wont find anything about it man...............someone probably just did it for the hell of it. does it even work?
