    Entire bumper is trashed and probably the grill. I'm checking all the lights. My insurance will cover with a $500 deductible. $500 extra dollars I don't have right now. I had to push the inside shroud just so I can turn my wheels. And I guess thank goodness it was the Dodge.

    About 60. We have an over population of deer out here. It's a long windy country road with nothing but trees and sparse houses. I've had about 15 Other near misses so I guess I'm lucky. Just very bad timing.

    They are big for the most part. Thank god I hit a red tail doe and not a buck. And I'm glad my instincts kicked in and I didn't try to dodge it. I hit it head on and stayed on the road. I actually had braked a bit before hittin it so that minimized the damage a little.

    I told myself for years that I would avoid what ever was in the road.... after working in a safety office for a while and hearing the stories, I don't plan on avoiding any animal in the road. Just grab the wheel, hit the breaks and pray the thing gets out of the way (depending on speed of course) :eek:
