I heard that Only White Double Cabs with the Sport Package are going to come with 1st generation iPods. J/K:D
Hopefully with the total re-design Toyota will finally offer a Black Interior on these things. I miss having a Black Interior in a truck.

The specs sheets from the 2012 brochure list that a Navigation system and Entune are only optional on the Double Cab Prerunner 4x4 model.

It also says Entune is complimentary for three years.

    No Leather Option available

Most everything else other than the look of the front and the dash seem to be identical to the 11.

BTW I'm not a Toyota Rep:D. I've been following this post for a few months trying to get details about the 12. So once I picked up the brochure I figured I had to share. I've been on the fence waiting to decide between an 11 or decide on a 12. I was hoping the new model would look more like the 12 Hilux and have better fuel economy so I could still go either way. There are very few 11's available around here though.

I've never seen a fence that looked comfortable enough to sit on. 2012 all the way for me!

"your vehicle is scheduled for production the week of September 19th so it should be here right around October 1st."

That's what my dealer just told me :yay:

"MSRP should be $35,405 and Costco price will be under $34k, $500 over invoice."

And that one too.. ouch..

But hey, my wife said this truck is it. "Get it all now, cause it's gonna be yours for the next 10 years (at least)." So I opted to get it all.. DC/LB/4X4/TRD Sport Upgrade package. It's steep, and I can already hear you guys ripping me a new one for forking all that out for a "mid-sized" truck. :argue:

But I sure wont hear you guys when my family and I are headed to Yosemite this Thanksgiving break and the truck has EVERYTHING I want! :brianr:

Man, I can almost see it.. can't wait for my first truck! :mudding:

Ok, I know the smileys were a little over the top.. but I couldn't help it.. :D

One of my local dealers claimed he could not get pricing in his system yet? Do you have the number of someone that could price one out for me?

    same shit as everyone else

If your ever going to take it off road I would HIGHLY recommend you opt for the short bed with the double cab. The wheel base is SO LONG with the long bed that you'll find it hard to get over basic obstacles

Thats overly dramatized a bit. Sure it has the shorter wheelbase, but there are plenty of guys that have lifted their dbl cab long bed and still take it offroad. Not a fan of the dbl cab short bed. It looks funky and it doesnt have the bedspace when you need it. It all comes down to what it will be used for. I want the space in the bed. If I didnt care about the bed size, then I'd get a 4Runner.

Thanks for the heads up! Honestly, I only plan on doing light off-roading. It's gonna be waaay to expensive for me to go that hardcore on it. I would assume most of my serious off-roading is going to come after the 5-6 year mark when it's already got enough dings that it almost looks cooler with them on than off..

In the meantime, I do plan on utilizing the long bed quite a bit; at least more so than I see myself going seriously off-roading. But again, thanks for the insight! Much obliged!

    ^^^ and no smileys!!

Just throwing out my advice. I'd love a long bed double cab for the road but with its length and price I'd opt for a tundra.

So...if engine is the same, safe to say TRD Supercharger would fit or might there be a need to wait for an ECU flash? I'm thinking of those that had the gas pedal fix and then wanted to have SC added were not able to. If that is most recent software version, would there be a new version on the '12? I want a '12 but don't want to wait to add SC.

Probably so you can leave the iPod hooked up and it won't be out in the open when the truck is parked.

so where in the hell is the 4wd switch?

I wonder if you could get the new steering wheel and put it on a pre 2012 model. I love the 4runner wheel's feel.

I like the direction the interior went. But I should find out tomorrow about my 2011 deal :D

Maybe it's on the roof with a dial switch. Isn't that how the 4runner is now?
