I'm a quail guy myself, but I can't wait for opening day. I inherited a double barrel demascus twist 12ga from the early 1900's that I've been dying to shoot. The dove's I shoot and keep there's a lady in my town that will trade dove, fish, deer, hog, etc. for beer/liquor.

Usually a 12 with reloaded bird shot. This time around it'll be with the new dbl barrel demascus safe ammo is almost impossiable to find around here. My little cusin uses a 16 or 14, we're suckers for old school, reloads usually as this ammo is also hard to find. He's been wanting to go to the 12 I'll probably let him this year, with his fathers approval of course.

wow classy, "They" Like if we are some sub-superior race that need your hand outs, hardly.

It would've been a whole lot better if you just said you gave them away rather than singling out a race and sounding racist or portraying us as needy. Besides, if shooting is what you like to do then buy a box of clays. A real hunter only kills what he plans on eating.

I won't stoop to your standards and include a raunchy picture ridiculing a specific race either.

Season opens here tomorrow. This time tomorrow morning I'll be along an edge of a stock pond doing some goose hunting.

    Chasing dove in the evening.

Also throw some bacon wrapped dove on the smoker. You won't be giving them away anymore lol.

Did I say I gave my doves away to needy hispanics? My bad. I meant hungry mexicans. Have a great day.:)

Not too bad with the heat of a Phoenix afternoon; birds weren't flying much.

My father and myself both limited out by 8 thursday morning in Bakersfield. Heading back out tomorrow but more than likely the shooting will be no where near opening day.

Nice! I was out opening day in El Centro... 113 degrees and a bazillion hunters. The field we went to probably had 15+ other hunters on it.

I took home 5 dove (no Eurasians). Not bad considering the amount of hunters and lack of birds

Yea we only saw a handul of eurasians. I would love to knock the hell out of em considering theres no limit. Thursday was a great day to go cuz everyones working on the fields in Bakersfield so the only other shots I heard were of my buddies I went with.

Saturday Im going out with an even larger group of fellas. Im bringing along my 22. Marlin to dust off some cotton tails once the shoot dies out and its one of my freinds second time ever hunting. Gotta keep him occupied with something
