One time after much slipping and fighting with the heavy, awkward, greasy thing, I bench pressed a transaxle up into place by myself, finally got it lined up and pushed onto the dowels and started a few bolts then rolled out from under the car to have a little celebritory break..... and found the throw out bearing I forgot to install. Haha, it happens.

The walbro I put in my turbo Talon flowed tons more than the stock one but it didn't really look any different. Can't really go by external look.

The bench press technique comes in handy when working under the truck. when I put the gas tank back in (less than quarter tank and was pretty light) i was under it and benched it up. Here's a handy tip when i put the tank in by myself. I used my adjustable cargo straps and draped them under the tank and hooked them under the frame. I slowly dropped tank by releasing each strap a little at a time. To put tank back in as I pushed one side of the tank up i would pull and tighten the cargo strap and it would hold it in place. did this till i got it up enough to reach the hoses but left enough space for my hands to get in between and connect everything. Then pushed the tank all the way up, held it in place with the cargo straps and bolted it back in. Made it quite easy for doing it by myself.
