Not to mention being the guinea pig for new technology always scares me.

    Bingo.

I like the black center console now, too.

I like how the whole center is black, just like what many members do on here, looks like toyota designers lurk on here getting ideas :anonymous:

    Definitely. :spy:

I would prefer that it wasn't glossy black, though. A matte finish like the dash would be better, IMO. Easier to keep clean and wouldn't scratch/scuff as easy.

    Just my $.02.

I missed that, but that is the kind of finish I was hoping for, for the stereo-surround.

Toyota has definitely been lurking. :spy:

Ooohhh....check this out from the spec pages:

AM/FM CD player wllh MP3/WMA playback capability, six speakers, SiriusXM Satellite Radio (includes 90-day trial subscription to XM Select Package), auxiliary audio jack, USB port with IPod connectivity, hands-free phone capability and music streaming Via Bluetooth Wireless technology

I'm sold on the non-Entune stereo. I wonder if the stereo pictured has XM or not. Usually there's an XM logo but I don't see one.

I hate the front end of the 2012 at the moment but im sold on the interior, everything that could have been upgraded or needed to be upgraded or changed what changed, the fabric on the inserts on the doors look better, black trim on the dash and console etc etc. Nice job Toyota

So the buttons on the rear view mirror are for homelink? Meaning you have to press the small buttons on the rear view mirror to open your garage door?

Do you use those buttons? Do you find it easy to use or cumbersome?

I just figured out where the interior photos were taken.

The radio display shows ESPN 1400.
ESPN on 1400 AM is in the Harrisburg, PA area.

According to my local dealer they will hit some dealers towards the end of Sept., he said the computer shows they hit the production line on Sept. 8th. For my region which has Zero allocated he thinks they are 4-6 weeks out (nor-cal).
