What length Hi Lift Jack for a 3" Lift???

    Hi all, I am about to purchase a Hi Lift jack but am unsure with what length to go with. 48" or 60"? I don't necessarily need it to lift the truck all that high just enough to change a flat and so on. After this weekend I'll have my suspension lift complete. Eibachs with 5100's @ 0 up front and 5125's with a 2" shackle and AAL for the rear. I would like it if the 48" would works seeing as its more compact and probably easier to mount in the bed. Thanks in advance for your help.

    I called my local 4WP to see how much they would charge to put my Eibach coils on the 5100's, they said 100 a piece. OUCH. The guy didn't sound like he wanted to do it either.

    Midas quoted me $35 a piece and the manager said I could watch the Tech do it. Sounds pretty good to me!

    4WP is the walmart of the offroad world and their customers are the same.

    It's very simple. If you know EXACTLY what you need before you go in there, or you order online, or you make them price match something that you've already done the research on, 4WP has it's place. But if you're looking for advise, or labor, or help, look elsewhere.

    I'd never use it that way. I keep a few ratchet straps in the truck to keep the suspension from full droop.
