    Looks like I'll probably be ordering a compressor and locker soon... You got yours from ecgs right?

    And I need the 129 part number for the 8.4 rear. What compressor are you using? I'm thinking about arb's newest one, hopefully will be good for airing up tires as well.

    This will be removing the limited slip diff right? Do you know if that will mess With anything? Will the vsc still work or can I get rid of that button?

    Sweeeet! Yes, ECGS is where I got it. Couldn't be happier with them.

    I got the
    $338 CKMA12 On-Board Air Compressor High Performance 12 Volt for Air Locker Differentials and Tire Inflation
    CKMA12 compressor. Fills tires quick enough. I can go from 20psi-35psi in all four in less than 10-12 minutes. It works really well. The bigger compressor they offer is basically mine double up. So, you get twice as much air.

    The locker does not mess with anything at all. You will still have the LSD in front and rear as it's controlled by the puter. Leave the VCS button it will still be your friend. :D

    When you get it, let me know. I can help you install it. The third is real easy to pop in. Hooking up the compressor, hose and wires is the hardest part.

    I would only re-gear if you plan on locking the front right now. The stock gearing has been ok with what i have been doing recently.

    I am pretty open for the next few weeks. New baby coming the first week of October.....

    Congrats on the baby!

    What are your thoughts on locking the front? Any plans to do it? I dont really know much about it and havent found a lot of info, but I was told if you turn the wheels while its locked you will break axles??

    I will certainly lock the front within the year. From what I gather... you need to be careful at near full lock and full articulation situations. Would like to learn more as well.

    Ha ha!! Hopefully I will have it done within the year. Lets see how the new addition to the family plays into it...

    Man I am having one hell of a time trying to fit this compressor under the hood.
    I had a good mount fabbed up, but I decided it would be in the way when it's time to change the air filter on the truck. The brake booster is really in a bad spot.. it would be so easy if that wasnt there. Now I'm trying to find a way to put it behind the fuse box but the brake fluid reservoir is making that difficult.
    It definitely fits nicely behind the rear driver side seat, but I dont like the idea of having to extend all of the wires and route everything back there.
