You might try Advanced Auto as well

Neither one. I would rather have Chiltons if I was forced to choose between the two.

My manual of choice would be Helms but they are expensive.

Thanks Tom.... don't think I check any of the autoparts stores for the socket.

I've never heard of the Helms manual... Why do you like it better?

Helm suplies manuals to the dealers and it is what the dealership mechanics use. I have one for my Bonneville, 3 volumes, and the cost was around $200. For my 2009 Tacoma it is 5 volumes and the cost is close to $500.

The manual contains everything you will need,

I did buy the Helm Electrical manual for my 2009 Tacoma. I was looking at it tonight to figure out how to interface the stock AUX input into the rear AUX jack of the Pioneer HU.

:pout: no way I can afford that for a manual.... bummer. But it sounds awesome.

Depends on which type u have, one kind has a bunch of thin metal strips that add up to a certain thickness, the other is a circle that gets thicker farther around it. Just ease the strips or spin the circle one around until it cant go anymore and thatll tell u what the gap is.
