Look for a turbo 4-banger and/or a hybrid v6 to meet developing CAFE standards.

    My wishlist:

    1. bucket seats optional on all models (not split and not bench)
    2. cruise control optional on all models
    3. rear sway bar optional on all models
    4. intermittent wipers STANDARD on all models
    5. power windows optional on all models
    6. power door locks optional on all models
    7. sliding rear window optional on all models
    8. electric radiator fans standard on all models
    9. strong four wheel disk brakes standard on all models
    10. replace the stalk antenna with a roof mounted shark fin antenna on all models
    11. sound deadener installed everywhere in all models
    12. tough mechanical LSD optional on all models (remove the brakes from the equation)
    13. VSC stays OFF when you turn it off, until you turn it back on - a simple toggle switch
    14. towing package available on all models (cooling and electrical upgrades)
    15. 16" alloy wheels with 60 series tires optional for the 5 lug trucks
    16. 3" narrower bed and body
    17. more of a Ridgeline like bed floor (spare comes out the top instead of dropping down underneath) maybe? Or maybe just a lightweight aluminum flatbed factory option?
    18. 3" longer cab on the regular cabs (behind the seats)
    19. quieter air conditioner compressor clutch
    20. tighter weatherstripping and a little better aerodynamics
    21. ~2.5 liter turbo direct injected 4 cylinder to replace the 2.7 liter and maybe a turbo diesel option to replace the 4.0?
    22. 6 speed, dual wet clutch, sequential transmission, with auto mode, to replace both the manual and the automatic (same for all models)
    23. stop trying to make people buy packages and let them choose individual options (A/C and sliding rear window are bundled together and somewhat counter productive)
    24. 50 MPG everywhere all of the time ;)
    25. Costs $5,000 for the base model, $6,000 for the bass model and $10,000 for the super-loaded ultra model ;)

It's going to have a jet engine, and not a piece of chrome on it.
