    Well.... I have to go see the adjustor on Wednesday to see how much they will give me. I'm going to call junk yards on Tuesday to see if maybe I can find one. Initially looking at it, without taking the plastic bumper cover off, it doesn't look like the actual steel bumper was damaged..... Soooooo if that's the case, I may just buy a chrome one for $145 and put that on instead then I don't have to pay the $500 deductible and claim it. Any other suggestions? At least with the chrome I wouldn't have to have it painted.

    Yep, I'm fine. It was a smaller doe thank God. Damaged the front bumper. Enough impact to make the inner shroud push all the way to my wheel. :eek:

    I think it's just the plastic bumper part, not the metal bumper behind it. I need to take the cover off to look and see, it's hard to see the damage from the pics. Right below the grill is the main big dent, and it pushed the inner shroud part back to the wheel on the driver's side. I pushed that back forward so I could turn the wheel.

    Well the cost of just replacing the plastic bumper cover and having it painted is over $500.... :eek::eek::eek: That's why if I change it to chrome, I won't have to worry about having it painted and it will only cost me $145....... Either way, it sucks. Very bad timing. Can't trade it in when it's damaged.

    welcome back chris.... i actually picked up a new computer also, classes this semester involve alot more computing so my 6 yr old hp with no ability to hold a charge needed replacement. got a hp netbook for alittle over 200
