When toyota had the rusting frame problem the frames were all made here in the states by Dana . they actually forgot one step of the rustproofing/metal prep process. Dana coughed up 25 million to Toyota and has been making good on that problem by replacing frames. As far as a clutch issue. Some clutches were made here in the US and some in japan. the ones made here were failing. toyota also replaces them at no charge. I have a 2011 and my clutch was slipping at 9,000 miles - two days later I had a new clutch. By the way my 5 speed manual is rock solid and shifts like butter.

You are correct... you never said that F150s are crap. You said that Raptors are junk, and then continually said Raptors are just F150s. So I used deductive reasoning to figure your opinion of F150s is not the greatest. I again have been reminded I can not use logical thought with people who have a way of spewing flawed theories. Again, I am sorry - I over estimated you.

If any of the words I used in this thread have challenged you, I offer this.

As true as this is, your statements imply that you would not buy one. A new member sees your post count and takes your opinions close to fact. So, for the record, you still haven't backed your opinion up besides the bent frames. I am fairly certain there are more pro's than cons to the Raptor for what OP wants to do.

    This makes little/no sense.

"You have to like try to insult me so you must be mad." Then, "Well I'm not." makes me wonder if someone has confused your big empty mouth for a well and tried to drop a bucket down to you to get some water. Then "I just had a beer and a burger" tells us you had lunch and a beer, proud of you. Finally, "I suggest you do the same." I'm hoping is talking about the beer/burger and not the "Well I'm not" because I don't want people trying to drop buckets down me to get water either.

i vote raptors, i was just discussing this yesterday with a coworker. at first i also thought the raptor was just an f150 with fox shocks and 35s but its much more. the raptor has a 6.2(not offered in an f150) electronically adjustable shocks, front and rear lockers, different traction options for the terrain, i didnt understand this completely but it has a button where it will crawl down a steep grade(up to 6%) without you touching the brake, has a towing capacity of 11000 if i remember correctly? and comes with 1 ton axles, and much more i dont know about. anyone can LT and supercharge a tacoma with less money but some of these options just arent possible plus you can go out and romp on it as hard as possible and whatever breaks can be fixed cuz it would still have a warranty :D not trying to stir anything up but just stating some cool options about the raptor :)
