I don't like that front grille, but I do like the fog lights. And I don't like the steering wheel, but I do like the stereo.

I think I'll wait until the 3rd gen finally comes out before getting too curious. I'm happy with what I have now.

I'm interested in a 2012 - I want to see what the Pyrite Mica TRD Sports look like before I send out my emails to dealerships however.

The front is growing on me. I wasnt sure about it at first (i'm still not) but its not hideous either. I really like the interior changes. The 4Runner steering wheel is a nice touch - mostly just flair but I like those lumps at 10&2. I love that they made it mostly black and used more 'weather resistant' materials (does that mean rubber or just better carpet?)

I may be just a few weeks away from biting the bullet... Let's see...

From what I understand, the seats have been treated to be more water resistant and repel water on the OR and Sport. The ruberized floor is an added option, similar to what is offered in the back of the FJ:

I got myself a brochure from the dealership. The sales manager was clueless and hadnt seen pics of the 2012. One of the salesguys was on the ball and went to double check. He found one and I am the proud owner of brand new 2012 Tacoma brochure. Well, I'm liking everything they did with the 2012. Im trying to be smart financially and pay off my current loan, a best buy loan and my student loan, which should all be gone by the time January rolls around.

Im loving everything on the exterior, but I am still not sold on entune yet. we will see.

So the all-weather flooring definitely has my interest if it's not carpet anymore. Has anyone actually seen what it is? And it's an add-on even after the TRD packages?

Maybe we just save the manual T-Case discussion for the future, "2013 Tacoma Mega-Thread" that we all know is coming soon? :D

Not to start a pissing match, but when I was your age, before you were born, SUV's didn't exist and wheeling did.

    Just arguing semantics now.

The Willys had no hardtop and was considered a quarter-ton truck.

But this is def taking a threadjack tangent.
