Question about payloads on Tacomas

Looking for a 2nd gen regular cab 4 cylinder right now. I moved into a house 6 months ago and have to do a lot of work on the place. I need to move gravel, sand, blocks, plants, wood.

The Toyota site has the 2011 model payload at 1350 lbs. So Does that mean I can't load the bed with more than 1170 assuming I weigh 180? Just wondering if you guys know the load limits based on personal jobs.

 

if your looking to haul heavy i wouldnt buy a toyota with out some sort of air bag or helper spring.these trucks have real weak springs on the rear.

Yeah I thought air bags were standard. Is there good replacement springs that won't break the bank? I am only traveling a few miles with loads and the majority of the time I won't have a lot of weight in the bed.
