2011 Taco Double Cab TRD 265 16 running 35psi, K&N airfilter. I got 22-24MPG VA to GA, and GA to VA with speeds up to 78MPH, these are highway miles. I normally get 21-22mpg, with city and highway. My truck only has around 6k miles so she has alot of breaking in yet......

This one was good for 22.3mpg (19.06 gallons to fill up). If I'm lucky I'll get my Fuelly back to 22.0mpg before colder weather sets in.

With Washington gas & decent traffic I can see you getting 20-22 mpg. Plus the roads there are pretty decent too compared to California. I just added a tonneau cover to my truck and I got 22.75 mpg on a recent road trip averaging around 70 mph. The best that I got before that was 21.5 mpg on a long stretch of road where I had to drive 55 mph. I usually average around 18 mpg or so combined street and freeway.

I live in AR and took a back way home to my parents in MO, its all slow rolling rills and I maintained 23mpg going 50-55 the entire way (which is the speed limit for the majority)

I avg. 20-21 going back and forth to work

The 4WDs are heavier and so the Prerunners should get 1-2 more MPG than the 4x4s, I would think.

I've been averaging 21 on my commute 85% highway and drive 60-65mph. Today I made a 240 mile all highway trip up to Idaho and back. 9.2 gals. 26 mpg! I drove at 61mph and didn't use AC.

I too enjoy the challenge of milking the best mpgs possible out of my dc 4x4 auto with 2" lift and 265/16 Duratracs. I was following another thread a couple weeks ago where folks were stating that the best efficiency level occurs cruising at 65 mph and many insisted that accelerating briskly up to 65 instead of ligtly and slowly getting up to speed was the way best way to maximize fuel economy. I have found the opposite to be true. This past spring during ambient temperatures (~65 to 82*F) I ran several tanks that were strictly commute miles to work, 20 miles each way, and I scored 3 tanks over 21 mpgs (21.1, 21.2 and 21.4) and several in the 20s. To accomplish this I literally drove 45 mph with maybe occasional 50 and using the lightest possible pressure on the gas pedal and accelerating like a turtle.
I typically get 18 to 19.5 driving gently with more extreme temps and some AC use.
BTW, with my Duratracs it definitely took 10k of treadwear before they started returning decent mpgs.
What does scanguage or comparable unit show as actual or real time mpgs during different highway cruising speeds?

i'll be honest, i could never do that, hence i'll never get the mpg posted in this thread
i'd rather have some fun driving or not make the trip at all or just skip one trip, if saving is the goal...

Ya, this was a one time thing just to see what's possible. Next time I'll do the speed limit +5 and see how that compares.

I was getting right at, or just short of 20mpg over the winter, but right now, with our sting of 100+, the AC never get turned off, and I am closer to 17-18mpg. I hope it is just the AC, when the weather breaks, I will know if last season was a fluke.

***I suppose it is worth mentioning that I had the auto transmission TSB which changes some of the shift points about 3-4 weeks ago, I do not have enough data points to chart a trend, but the truck drives considerably different now...more power is delivered on acceleration. I don't know if that will translate to worse millage from the additional power available, or less because of increased efficiency during acceleration. The precious shift points left me with a lot of rev'ing at times.
