got 20 and 21 MPG last 2 tanks. That is going less than 65MPH (63-65 MPH) on the highway and keeping it easy during city driving. This include occasional use of A/C and a few full throttle accelerations.

Warmer temps affect mileage by a big margin...

Last 3 tanks were around 19 MPG but doing 70MPH or more on highway when going to work.

The last tank of gas I ran in my truck I averaged 19.27 mpg. In 5 days I used the truck to:
-Tow a big pop-up camper (A/C, heater, stove, sleeps 6-8, so it wasn't no "small" pop-up) 80 miles round trip in 4th gear (auto)
-Took three trips to haul 420 6' fence pickets about 15-20 miles each trip
-Three trips hauling about 75 4x4 fence posts 15-20 miles each trip
    -18 60# bags on concrete 15-20 miles
    - Hauled a treadmill and push mower 35 miles

Plus my other daily driving I do.
    This was all with a '07 DC, auto, 265/75/16 10plys, TRD intake/exhaust

15% tint, IR tint on windshield, Custom grill w/ floating Toyota Emblem, Relocated horns, Painted Calipers, K&N drop in air filter, Secondary filter removed, Fog light mod, Valence plastidipped, Suede arm rests, Carbon Filber accents in interior, 48 LED dome light, badges removed from tailgate, Input jack for Ipod mod on stock stereo...more to come
I average 17.8 mpg. with these mods: 265/65/17 (stock) DC TRD Sport, K&N drop in air filter, removed secondary filter, fog light mod a/c on high @ all times. (I'm in Vegas)
Before doing any mods, I would get 19.5-20.5 average w/o AC...this was before summer hit. I'm sure the K&N is causing the MAF sensor to think the truck is running leaner, so its adding a little more fuel then before, and the A/C is running...so I would say that it is still pretty good. I am going to put on the URD MAF calibrater to fix the air fuel mixture problem, and hopefully that will restore my original MPG.:)

I'm getting what I should.....Don't know what it is but if I worried about MPG, I would ha bought a Prius.... Doesn't matter.

It much really suck having a nice truck and worrying about whether or not one can afford to actually drive it where and when they want.

I have the TRD SC and have found that I get *much* better mileage when I keep the RPM's up a bit (I have a 6 spd). 3rd gear at 40 mph gets me about 22.5 mpg on a relatively flat road. Thats with All-pro bumpers front & rear, a Snugtop, and a 95Lb winch up front adding to the overall weight of the truck. I get the same in 2nd @ 30mph...

I was really surprised at the difference. May go to Amsoil though since the rpm's will be higher, but it's not running lean at the higher rpm's, so the excess gas at lower rpm's won't be washing the crankcase oil off the cylinders...

Couple months ago I was getting around 310 miles per tank. I'm driving basically the same as before, and now I'm getting around 250. I don't go over 1,500 rpms, and I usually put the truck in neutral for hills and downward inclines.

No lift, stock 265 highway tires too..

I just bought my new 11 DC last week and by yesterday had clocked 230 miles on it. The fuel gauge was sitting at exactly half tank, so I filled up to check the accuracy of the gauge. I squeezed every drop I could get in the tank topping it off. Exactly 10 gallons.....23 MPG!!!
Yes I was babying it because it's brand new, but I ran with traffic, stayed at the speed limit. I was amazed at 30-35 mph that the rpm's are around 1500.
    Lovin it so far!
