I'm looking forward to the UT game this year. It might be the only game I see in person, and I feel pretty good about our chances. I know it's a good-sportsmanship tradition, but it makes my skin crawl when the UT band gets to play on our field and they do the "power-T" up and down while playing Rocky Top.

    Re: everybody else...
Dunno how many accolades I should be getting... but they're certainly appreciated. I try to keep a level head, but that often doesn't work after a bad showing by Bama and/or a few beers. I don't know as much as many on here, though, honestly.

 and  for honesty and a level head. Don't worry man, most people get that way after their team loses. (excluding the alcohol) I get that way if Bama or Miss. State loses.

    :yay:...wait... :brianr:. :D

My exact sentiments to the damn yell'er hammer song. Unfortunately I'll probably have to hear it this year too. Hopefully we can contend again in a couple of years.

As a UGA fan last year I went off a little bit too much. :anonymous: Up until after the rock bottom of the CO game then I just grew cold of it all. So I guess after Saturday night's game I did good. No cursing, no throwing my hat or anything. Just didn't have the expectation this year so I think I'm good now.

I'm a huge Auburn fan but I'll never go to another Iron bowl...to many jack asses on both sides...it ruins the fun of the game. I'll just sit at home and watch from now on! I think it's too early to make a judgment about most teams but I think (and as much as I hate to say it, I have to) Alabama looks awesome as long as they keep Sims out. Their defense looks rock solid...probably the best defense I have seen from them in a while. As for Auburn, were young and for the youth on the team I think we did pretty well. Defense has a long way to go but we will get there. I think Utah State is a very under rated team...I mean, that QB and running back they have are pretty freakin good!

Don't take me the wrong way here, I don't get "violent" in the sense of starting crap with opposing fans and get in fights or anything. But I do show my emotions during the game. Hell, I thought that was just part of college football.

Funny thing is, I can watch and enjoy other college games. When my Dawgs are on, I'm uptight, pacing in front of the tv (when watching at home) and cant relax and enjoy the game. When it's not a "cupcake" anyway. But I guess most of us are like that.

I prefer to watch two other colleges play. Especially if they aren't in the SEC and it is a worthless game. I get uptight over most SEC games. I did enjoy wathing T.S.U.N play the Mormons and Aub playing Utah State. Both good games IMO. I also watched parts of U.H vs UCLA but it wasn't very exciting.

I'm just trying to justify the embarrassment that all the UGA fans in the Dome felt Saturday night :anonymous:

Yea, I was pissed off, too. And embarrassed. Honestly, it felt awful to be a Dawg fan walking out of Atlanta with all the blue and orange walking around. (I'll give BSU credit, they traveled rather well, considering how far they had to come).

I was jumping up and down and screaming and booing after the buzzer sounded for the first half to be over. After that, it turned to disappointment. The air was gone out of the Dome and you could just feel what was going to happen in the second half. I think everyone had some expectations, at least for the first game of the season, even if they didn't expect to win the NC. The energy in the building was ridiculous...probably the loudest setting for a college football game I've ever been in. It got even louder after Boykin's 80 yard run. After that, it felt like everyone gave up.

I'm the same way... Big games I can't sit back and watch. I'm always pacing, yelling, cheering, throwing my hat (though, not violently.... at least I don't think so).
