Gifford Pinchot National Forrest, Norther Skamania County Wa. Basically just head East on hwy 14 from Washougal to Carson and drive north. Took a trail back to Trout Lake WA for a burger and scooped out a good ELK hunting spot for this November. I guess Oregonians would drive out to cascade locks on 84 and take the bridge of the gods over to Stevenson then head another 4 miles east to Carson.

 

If you're interested in driving to Washington I'll be going to Elbe next weekend. We can add some new dents and scratches to your truck.

 

Are you going to run the busy-wild trail this time around?

Hellllo I am In Federal Way WA, (45min s of Seattle). I'm buying an OME Lift - over time lol - any suggestions on a reliable shop i can take my truck to and have them put my lift on? Within a reasonable drive... like 3 - 4 hours tops?

 

I can install it for you. I'm in Auburn. You'll just need to go somewhere to get an alignment.

 

Completed my first mig welding this weekend. Welded on my trail-gear shock mounts to my rear axle. The welds aren't pretty but I got good heat penetration and after a weekend of driving, they are still holding tight. Glad to be rid of my bouncy rear end. That definitely wasn't safe to drive for as long as I did without shocks, but I never really take it out of town.

Next time - I will be jacking the truck up in the air. Getting under the back of the truck with a welding mask on was a real pain in the head. Haha

 

I was in Corvallis on Sunday. Shoulda gotta ahold of me and I could have done some welding for yu or showed you some tricks
