Well my truck is done! long anticipated.. Worst part was the wheels and tires. I asked RCD if I could run a 16 and they said yes after I got the truck done I went to test fit a wheel and needless to say it DIDN'T fit.. I was jacked because I already had my 16" tires too. So it was a mad dash here at work. To get wheels in and tires in 17"s. Good thing Mickey Thomson and I are like this! (crosses fingers) got American racing 17x8 with 4.5 inch back spacing with Dick Cepek Fun Country II's 33x11.50.17's

Anyone Having any issue with driveline vibration? I have the 2 piece driveshaft and put the spacers above the carrier bearing and I still have vibration, I also tried them out and it actually lessened the vibration. Its only there from about 20-30 mph.. Any suggestions??

P.S. 33x11.50x16 (285/75/16) Fun Country II's Brand new for sale!!

Nice. You called BDS for Wheel recommendations? Why not RCD? Try reducing the Carrier bearing drop to half of what is in there now.

Nope, got a new shorter spacer from a fastener/hardware store or stack washers.

I'm new to lifting and after reading this thread i want this type of lift, however if i understand it right this kit is not for a 2wd Prerunner, am i right?

Correct. 4WD only. Best lift on a pre-runner is 4 inch spindles.

you can buy and use this kit for a 2WD but its not necessary. You can save yourself alot of money by just going with taller spindles. You dont need to lower the front differential to keep your driveline angles to factory spec on a 2WD model like we do on our 4WD models

So who offers the spindles? and what do i do for rear? The reason i really like this kit is i see everyone saying how good these ride (without the vibration or bottoming out the front shocks) plus i know i'm not gonna be happy with just a 3" lift and a 6" is way to exp. right now for me. Does some one offer a 4.5" kit for the 2wd Prerunners?

    bump,

MetalMiller says he may be able to fabricate a front skid for all of us... and offer and discounted group buy. I'm away in the Middle East can any of you fellow RCDers help out with this?

He'd need measurements and pictures...or a test vehicle if someone is close

I'd like to get one and I know some of you have been asking about front skids
