Bed light "mod" need HELP

Now some of you are not going to like this, and so be it. But I need light especially hunting. Now it is not done, the light with have about 70% blacked out military style. I tried the LED, and in the pocket, great lighting but not for what I need.
The question is "how do you take out that pocket"!! I tried pushing up and pulling out, and everything in between.
What am I missing here....

The pocket in front of the glass is what I can't remove.

I checked out you pic's. Believe you me, I tried all last night before the game.
Going to give it another shot today, we will see.

Well I finally figured it out.
Etched the glass last night and sprayed it with a high temp paint.
Waiting on the Blu Sea fuse block then I will get it all hooked up.

Since the switch's on the dash are gonna be used up, I located it here. This way with or with out the cover on a quick reach down will get light on.

 

Looks good, a question Why not get the small rectangular lights to save on room? I like the switch location

 

Never thought of asking for a trade (console).

As for the light size iself, overkill yes, sort of like the round style better. It does take up some room, but it is enough out of the way. We will see how it goes after it is all wired up.

Best part about the whole thing.......didn't pay one red cent for the lights or alum. stock.

Lights were given to me since box was torn open and box parts gone. I was able to take them out and look everything over, nothing missing. So he walked me to the door and said "have a good day".
