Yeah I saw the thread about it and was thinking about it..I want to try and get some more done on the bumper. I finished the frame horns about an hour ago..I'll post some pics when I get home. The main tube will go on next. I work all week so I'll see how much I get done...I'll most likely go, pretty sure I got nothing going on that day

I dont do the welding, remember? both my roommates can weld pretty good. I am planning on taking a welding class next semester and I'd be glad to help. I did however measure and cut everything out :D The bar sits maybe a half inch lower than I wanted it to..oh well

I got the skid plate all bent up and bolted on. It was tougher than I expected and its not perfect. The drive side is a little high so I will have to do a little trimming on the top. Not bad for first time building it though. Still need to cut two bars coming from the frame to the edges of the bumper. The aluminum was a lot harder to cut and bend than I though. I ended up cutting a small line where I wanted it bent and then bent it on the seam. Total cost of the bumper was about $75 with material to spare!

Thanks guys. I am pretty happy with the way its coming out so far. I am going to do something to get air to the radiator...just not sure what yet. I'd like to keep the skid whole as much as possible
