    Hello ,
Does adding leveling spacers void the warrenty?I would like to add them and raise the front but dont want to void the warrenty.I did the kit on my old F-150 and loved it.

    Thanks

i have it but mine is out of warranty. but im guessing that if you ever need to get something for your suspension then you would have to remove it before going to the stealership

I don't think that is necessarily true. You can add whatever you want to your truck. If you take your truck to the dealership and if the problem (whatever it may be) was caused by a mod you did to your truck, usually they will not cover it. I haven't heard of a dealership voiding your entire warranty because you mod it.

They can't void your warranty because of an aftermarket accessory. Google Magnusun Moss Act (check spelling?). They would have to prove that the added accessory caused the stock part to fail in order to deny a warranty claim. That being said, just because it was proven in court once, doesn't mean every dealership is going to comply. Say your front wheel bearings go pre-maturely and they blame the spacer lift, you now have a fight on your hands.

Dealer said Toyota looks at it like this. Suspension kit has nothing to do with say airconditioner so warrenty still good, no effect on transmission, engine, elec system and so on. Toyota could claim void on suspension related issues though.
