Ok, but you may never get off. You've been warned, :D!!! I've on the Stiller train since I was a kid.

Nonsense, Steeler Nation is always welcome to new members. More the merrier. Why do you think we pack other teams stadiums so well.

    Don't get discouraged.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
A Steeler fan had 050 yard line tickets for the Super Bowl. As he sits
down, a man comes down and asked the man if anyone is sitting in the
    seat next to him.

"No", he said, "the seat is empty".

"This is incredible" said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Super Bowl, the biggest sporting event in the world, and not use it?"

Somberly, the man says, "Well...the seat actually belongs to me.
I was supposed to come here with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Super Bowl we have not been together since we got married in
    1967."

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find
someone else - a friend or relative or even neighbor to take the
    seat?"

The man shakes his head, "No. They're all at the
    funeral."

    (Go Steelers!)

the steelers are a beast of a team... I am surprised they dont win more games, the way they play is like stacking your team on madden and playing the lions... they are indestructable, but then some weak ass team always comes out and whoops i guess thats football tho, any given sunday nukka

Friday, Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin’s words were infused with pride when asked about the Steelers following.

“I embrace (the national following),” the 36-year-old said. “Steeler nation drives me on a day to day basis. They are why...we do what we do. We appreciate it. There is nothing like going into a hostile environment and seeing so many rabid, friendly faces (of traveling Steelers fans) so that is a pleasure to be a part of.”

But when one considers why the Steelers captured American imaginations, it has more to do with their brand of straight-ahead, smashmouth offensive football and brute-force defensive football that has been in the game’s DNA since the sport began.
The “Steeler Way” didn’t start seven years ago with their latest coach. It started with Chuck Noll in 1969. It developed through four Super Bowl titles in the 1970s. The torch was passed to Pittsburgh native Bill Cowher in 1992 and the defense-first, running game second commitment resulted in another Super Bowl win in 2005. Now, it’s Tomlin’s job, and he says he understands what his marching orders are.

Some NFL teams change styles season to season. The Steelers haven’t changed DECADE TO DECADE.

    Same as it ever was.

im not a pro football fan...never have been...i was raised watching college ball

but if i had to choose a team to watch and pull for it'd more than likely be the steelers...

they seem to draft or pick up so many players over the years from my favorite college team...which of course is Clemson

but they also fked themselves when it counted... their defense was garbage last night..

Don't get me wrong... the Steelers deserved the win - the Cards just played worse...

First I am not a fan of either team.. i had nothing riding on the game.. just from what i saw

    The Cards should have won.

The Block in the back on the INT returned for a touchdown.

Holmes didnt have both feet down.. his right toe has on the cleats of the left shoe.. and the last play wasnt a fumble it was an Incomplete pass...

Thought I might try to revive the "Stiller" Nation thread from last year.

Man just it make me pround to be a Steeler fan when I hear the fans yelling "heeaatttthhh" for Heath Miller during last night's game in Denver. Denver's 1500miles away from Pittsburgh, PA, but the Steeler Nation prevails. And, it's not like Denver doesn't have a fans either; hell they only lost one game before last night.

I'm proud to be an American and proud to be a Steeler fan!!!
