    It is new and only been on the truck for less than an hour. I got it on Aug 30 and put it right back in the box. I need a better exhaust setup and the wife does not want it any louder.     Yeah, it bolts right up. It takes all but an hour maybe to get your old y pipe off and this one on.

    Yeah it sits above real snug. Its probably less then an inch from your heat shields.

    Newb confusion here:

    Looking at Thorleys site, where is this item listed for 2nd gens? Long tube headers pop up, but not this... Is this pipe something you can use, then add headers later? Help.

    yes, this is totally different than the headers. So you can certainly run this first, then add headers.
