got led turn signals now they blink really fast

anyone herd of this, or do i need to get a new/different realy for it... sorry if this was discused before

 

You need an LED relay.

Autozone has them.

I know this because I have LED blinkers and I got an LED relay.

It fixed it.

the relay has a "feature that when one light goes out the resistance is lower so it will blink faster to let you know the light is out. since leds require way less juice it makes the relay think a light is out and will blink faster. All you have to do is cut the conductor for the lamp failure detector

We have thermal flashers now...need to get an Electronic flasher. I did this in my 1st Gen and worked fine.

Buying a relay is far easier than all that wiring crap. Well at least in my 4Runner it was.

Just take old relay out, put new one in.

lol all that wiring crap is 1 take out relay, 2. open, 3 drill hole

IMO way easier than driving to parts store and having the R tard behind the counter give me the wrong thing and have to go back again...

 

That's why you research it and figure out exactly what you need, it's not behind the counter it's near the fuses and stuff I believe.

well the r tard at autozone gave me the wrong crap, now my turns or hazards dont work, so im screwed

 

when you go to the store, pop out your thermal flasher, take it in, and say you need one of these but electronic. kinda easy

 

not the problem. i got a whole new one from toyota and it still dont work fml. looks like i have to take it in

 

do the lights come on and not flash? or no lights at all

if no lights at all check the fuse

 

it turns out it was the fuse, i took it out looked fine but decided to put a new one anyway and it worked.... so now im stuck with a new relay that toyota has a no return policy on.... yeah.... not even 30 min. and they wont return it. sooooo......... if anyone knows of anybody that needs one ill sell it

 

or open your current one and drill the hole and if it doesnt work then use the new one in case you f the old one
