Hi Susan, I am very fortunate to have all my kids living nearby. I do enjoy the grand kids and miss them when we don't see them for a while so I can relate to how you must feel:pout:. Hope the time comes when you can enjoy them more often:)... Ken

Our grandson lives about 5 hours away. We get to see him 7 or 8 times a year and wish it was more! He'll be 8 on 9/11. This year he spent a full week with us so we had a fun filled time. He didn't want to go home!

My one son and wife are 2 1/2 hours away (no kids yet) but the other is 2100 miles away :pout: Girls are 4 & 9. Have a blast when I go visit them. The pooches road trip very well (well Ollie did and Annie does - will get to find out next year how Zoie does) as does the Tacoma

I could deal with that distance.... Tried to bring the little one home with me, but her mom wouldn't let her go... the nerve of some people :D 8 is a great age to spend time with them.

 on enjoying grandkids. They are great!!! :sorry: you don't have any.

Twas a bad day for me yesterday. I have the shed almost all covered with the first coat of paint. I wa s painting on a steep grade, on the ground, in the rear of the shed and the ground gave way under my right foot. I pulled my right hamstring when I went down on my left knee.

I went to the emergency room and was there fpr 4 hours. I have some meds but I am confined to the couch today and tomorrow.

It is not painful unless I step wrong so I am trying to stay off of my feet. I doubt that I will be on TW too much this week.

I hope you are feeling a bit better by now, Tom! Stay off that thing and let it heal!!

We're without power again this afternoon. Running off the generator again. Thank goodness I invested in that thing when we built the house.

Hi Mark, been raining the better part of the day down here. Getting a bit water logged but the basement is dry:). We haven't had much problem with losing power, but it might not be a bad thing to invest in a generator cause if we lose power I lose the sump pump:crapstorm:! Hope you get power back soon.....Ken

The power just came back on. Out for about 4 hours. I am so thankful for that generator!
