Ok, so the first one came out TITS and is a beautiful thing to see. I have pics on my big camera and will post them up so you call can see what it looks like. Unfortunately we tested it so many times and were playing with it so much that we burned up the 2 regulators that we had and couldn't use it in scenario play. Lesson learned.

I'm in the process of building a rev 2.0 with better coding, a new internal board that is much more shock-proof, better soldering/wiring, etc. The first one was buggy especially when we put the 12v battery to it and started burning up regulators. We've worked that out but I just want it to be better than before, plus I'm building the 2.0 version to be the production model. I'm cataloging parts and making a much better circuit, found a better LCD and keyboard, plus I'm tweaking the code to get the timing just right. Glitches be gone!

We already pre-sold 2 units to a paintball shop in the east valley even before the first unit was done. Once we're ready for production, I'll post up and we'll be visiting the local shops and pb/airsoft forums. TW discounts will be available :)

Now I remember! I saw signs for that last year when I took the kids to Wet n' Wild and also when my son had baseball tournaments at the fields right there. Wow, that's super close to me.

Ok so here she is from inception to completion...

    1. The ammo box prepped for sirens

    2. 3 110db 12v sirens

    3. Inner lid for LCD, keypad, buttons and LED riveted in, sirens installed, and box painted flat brown

    4. Internals all installed

    5. Once the barrel key is turned on, it loads the program and prompts for an arm code (7 digits of our choosing, or more if coded)

    6. Once the arm code is successfully entered, the countdown starts. The red button is there so the arming team can manually press and alert the siren to notify everyone on the field that the bomb is now armed (my new code will do this automatically). If the wrong arm code is entered, the screen clears and you have to start the code over. The countdown timer can be changed in an admin mode. As the box counts down, it beeps and the LED flashes once per second. As it gets closer to detonation, the beeping speeds up. A separate disarm code must be entered before the countdown timer completes, or else the 3 sirens sound for detonation. You can hear it a LONG ways away.

    7. Upon detonation if the disarm code is not entered successfully and in time, a friendly message is displayed

Here's the area we played at. Good density of trees with good fern coverage, but enough space to still score kills at up to 100ft in certain areas. The field was about 1/8 mile wide by 1/4 mile deep. There are some really dense bunkers right by the bomb sites we used which made for great strongholds at both ends.

We're doing this again on the weekend of Oct. 1 if anyone is interested. PM me for details or I'll start a new thread as we get closer.

You got it. This site was great... totally out of the way but we could still get a Ford Fusion back down that road (not recommended, but possible!) I expect closer to 20+ people on this next one based on the success of the previous.

You can easily get a scuba tank for co2.. compressed air is next to impossible. The psi is so great, you need a huge tank for it.

Check your o rings and if you turned your velocity up that will do it. Also paint to barrel match = better effiency. Your gun doesnt have a regulator built in does It?

I'm going to turn my fps back down to where it was, because I was opening it up wide but wasn't really getting any increased velocity from my paint. I think I'm going to switch back to the stock 14" barrel that came with it, too. The 16" I am using is ported all the way down the entire barrel. I used to get over 1000 rounds on a single 20oz tank and I want to get back to that.

    O-rings were all new.
