Better ride: 886 coils or spacers?

Ok so I was on the Toytec site and I see that the 3in spacer kit and the coil only kit (886) are the same price.
Question:
1) Which 1 will ride better?
2) Will they both need new upper control arms?

will be all ON ROAD driving. Will have 17X9 wheels and 265/70/r17 tires

i would say there both going to ride about the same. The spacer is just going to compress your original spring for the extra three inches, and the coil is going to be longer and stiffer the stock to give you the three inches, especialy the 886's. No you dont need upper control arms for any of the two lifts, it is recomended for correct alignment thou. Im running 884 coils with no after market upper control arms and im doing fine. Going to get some soon. Others will chim in soon for things i missed. or might not be 100% correct on. But my advice would be to save up the money and get the toytec coilovers.

 

No need for 886s if you don't have a heavy front bumper...

 

I went with the spacers, some say the ride is harsh. That was somewhat true, but then I added new UCA's, rides nice now, you can even ask some of the people (hoosiertaco) who rode in it.
Going to be switching in the near future, going to be running a heavy front bumper.

 

I thought I needed the 886 because i have DCLB. I don't think the spacers compress the stock springs. I believe them to mount on top of the strut housing and just relocate the spring 3in lower. Is that right?

What UCA's are the best to run. I see the ones on TOYTEC for like 429. Are they as good as the Total Chaos?

 

Don't really know....I posted on it awhile back, alot of people said to go with Total Chaos so I did.
Shop cut me a deal since they did everything else. I will say however to look into everything. I know I would most likely go a different route, but it was my first lift and you live and learn.
