    Stupid busy, mad at our engineer...... She designed an addition for us, designed the roof and everything but neglected to draw anything in the plans nor add any dimensions..... The place we are working on has a 4 foot over hanging roof.... We got 4 drop down trusses so with everything else we do we used 2 under the existing roof to support the old overhang. Used the other 2 on the end for the gable for the new roof. We checked with her today and she asked how the cutting off henold roof went........ Apparently she designed it so that we had to cut off the old over hang and use the 4 drop down trusses for the end........:mad:

    Now we are waiting on 2 more trusses to be made to fix the mistake

    Awesome....engineers are 'usually' pretty good about documenting things since so much liability rides on their shoulders it surprises me that she didn't provide anything to you guys.

    Been an awesome day here too...I get to work with people who don't believe in the existence of a little thing called gravity! :frusty:

    The plans are a joke.... It's basically just the drawing of the house and the addition with decks. The only dimensions are window locations and size. And to top it off the window sizes were wrong anyways....


    You going to give them a gravity lesson? Drop them on their heads!
