    hes around 17-18 on the inside I believe....can't really remember. I'd measure him but Im at work in North Dakota. We have some hunting land in the Pineapple, Al. area. Thanks!

    I like my 308 but the 270 feels better to me for some reason. It has just enough kick. I remember the first time I shot it I was doubting it and I didn't hold it tight enough...and I snuck up on my scope too far, my nose paid the price! You would think I would have learned because I've killed 12 deer with it and when I killed this big fella...I did it again!

    ^ Hah! I know what you mean. i did the same exact thing on a 338 lapua. Left a nice mark on my nose. Hah! I know the principles, but it still happens. lol

    Sweet! Most people have a notion that Alabama doesn't have any big daddies...but we actually do. This is small compared to allot of the bucks I have seen taken off our property.

    Thanks! I was getting frustrated cause it was my last day to hunt and I saw three does comes out to my right and then a super tall 7 point was chasing them and I started to aim at him when I saw this monster come out behind him. I about had a stroke! It amazes me cause I have been hunting for year and I still get excited...like a kid in a candy store!

    wow that's a good price. some of the guys around here will do it for 400, but i got a 3rd cousins husband or something like that that does it for me and my brother for 250. . . . and thats a great looking bobcat. my brother smoked one with a .306 a few years ago. a young high schooler with a taxidermy book i was, and i tanned it myself. turned out pretty good.

    Damn...250 is a great price! I have a buddy that I worked with when I worked in the gulf for Shell that would do it for free for me, just charge me back for his costs...but he lives in Louisiana...and I ain't driving all that way! Yeah...I wish that cat was mine...cause hes freakin huge man! The thing weight 26 pounds...which is a whole hell of allot for a cat!

    hells ya dude! that is decent buck for bamma right? i do not hunt deer. i get my yote back at the end of the month. $300 isnt bad either. round here, for a mount like that it would be between $500-$800. good deal.
