So today was the first day of my senior year and about 2 periods into the day, the whole school was evacuated to our football field where we were told there was a bomb threat and we were in danger. Apparently a Navy Corpsman named Daniel Morgan went AWOL and his barracks were searched where they found a binder containing bomb plans and other stuff in that nature basically stated that he had planted bombs on our high school campus. We ended up staying in the heat for more than 2 and half hours and we later found out that 2 bombs were actually found on the school campus. SWAT and bomb dogs and news helicpters and everything was surrounding our school. We werent aloud to leave or even go to our cars to get our lunchs or WATER. It was fucking hot. Google San Clemente High School bomb threat 2011 and you'll see the whole story. Anyways he is in custody and im fine along with every other 3200 of the students.

thanks just thought id share. Definately the most memorable first day of school.

We had numerous bomb threats my senior year of hs, but nothing ever came of any of them. It was just a bunch of idiots that kept calling them in or writing them on the bathroom wall, hoping they would give us the day off from school.

I am so sick of hearing about shit like this, no not you, but this type of crap happening. Parents aren't getting involved in there kids life like they used too {and definitely not whipping there asses like they used too}, things like this rarely happened when I was in school {class of 91'}, it's sick. Really pisses me off. Sorry if i'm out of line. :(

this has been a senior prank for the past three years of high school, as well as kids pulling the fire alarms, its become so common that nobody has any reaction to either one. now if there is a real fire or bomb, not sure what would happen...

    glad you ok!

we had a hit list of like 15 people in my HS we had a few lock downs and shit. one day they searched everyone as they came in to the main building. and made us go in to the gym. it was kinda cool we sat there till like 10 am. lol and idk why they had 1500 kids go in to one place so small. someone dropped a book and like 15 wear out the door in the gym that lead right out side. in like 3 seconds i was one of them. lol they wear girls crying and some did not even show up!!

That is crazy!! Good thing they found them!!

I remember my first or second day of high school sophomore year there was a bomb threat and we had to wait out on the football field for like an hour or more in the heat. Everyone in my grade was like, what a great way to start out the year lol.

Then a bomb-laden truck camoflaged as an ambulance or police command post drives onto the field and detonates... wait, which TV show was this? Sleeper Cell?

My high school used to have a bomb threat or two a year.

Kids always called in fake ones, then got busted for it a few hours later. Idiots.

I heard about this today and now the base is on threat-con bravo. Can't park within 100 feet of any building and it is a pain in the ass to get on base.
