    Hi,

    My name is Rob and I'm new to the world of pickups, but not new to Toyota's. I have owned probably 14 Toyota's so far but this is my first Tacoma :) It's a 2002 PreRunner 4x2 2.7L Auto, nothing special but it's a one owner truck and has a freshly replaced frame along with a bunch of the suspension stuff as of last year.

    I was looking for a 4x4 initially, but they are so expensive or just beat up beyond belief. I'm planning in the future to convert it to a 4x4 which I understand you can do with all OEM parts and it's a fairly simple conversion.

    Anyways, I'm picking it up on Friday or Saturday, so I'll post up some pics when it's here. Looking forward to joining the community and learning a lot :)

    I don't to be honest, it's not a priority. I'm really looking for the space this provides and I've yet to own a pickup, so it's a jump into foreign waters. The 4x4 swap plan isn't set in stone and probably won't happen anytime soon to be honest. I have a couple project cars I'm working on now, so this will mainly be a daily and will just get the odd part here and there.

    Thanks Tigahshark! Yeah, I've had all Toyota's so it was an obvious choice for me to pick one up. I've been lurking the forums for a week or so now and there are so many nice ones, hopefully I can make mine half as good as any of them :)
