    Hello Tacoma World,

My name is Michael and I have a 2006 base modeled Tacoma. I joined this site to get reviews, help, ideas and more from other Tacoma owners.

My first question is, I was told I have a very small leak from my crank case. I am not 100% sure what parts are in the case and exactly where it's at. I do not own a repair manual yet.

I also have a question for any mechanically inclined or those who have done trial & error. If I increased my horsepower by an amount and/or dropped the weight by a decent amount (without changing the aerodynamics of the truck other than a tonneau cover) if the gas mileage would increase due to power-weight ratio?

Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I actually just moved from Gainesville to Inverness, but I go to UF for my degree so I'm in Gainesville right now 2 - 3 times a week.

On another note, just reading around there is sooooo much stuff. This is one hell of an informative site!
