I moved from Alaska to Hawaii, because I am going to college here now. I Could not bring my taco with me because the cost of shipping:(. I was looking for a cheap car to drive around the island with and I ended up buying a 1999 Toyota Carolla:cool:. It's nice and all but it's just not the same as my tacoma.

Before she was put into storage.

dam that sucks, but when you do get reunited with your tacoma, you'll enjoy it like a new truck all over again.

How much is shipping from Alaska to Hawaii? Way more than what you paid for the Corolla?

Nothing wrong with an island beater. Did the same thing when I was stationed there. That '91 Accord did just fine.

Going from one extreme state to another. I bed shipping was probably >$5k. My Uncle shipped his car from Hawaii to L.A. in 1992, and it was $3k.

Looks like one of the many beach parks out at Waianae or one of the beaches over on the east side. Well at least you got something to drive and good on gas since the gas here is STUPID!
