    Just bought it!
Don't have any good pictures of them together since I've only had the truck for a couple weeks. The day after I bought it I drove out and picked up a parts bike for my supermoto and at least got a picture of that.

Normal bike is the yz426 sumo, and the Buell I just sold a week before I picked up the tacoma.

My 2001 YZ426f was setup for motocross while I owned it. The guy that bought it had me swap the stuff from another YZ426f that was setup Supermotard. Last I heard the third owned set it back up for dirt.

Is your engine stock or did you work it a bit. I did some carb mods, 03 cam, and some other super easy no cost / low cost mods. after the second owner raced the bike, he gave me a call letting me know it was easy to ride and would pull the bigger displacement bikes noticably on the straights.

Can't tell but hope you have an 01 or 02, those are the years with the better crankshafts.

    Just bought it!
Engine is stock. I haven't had the bike very long and the guy before me barely rode it. It's been down for a few weeks but the last few parts I needed came in the mail today so I'm gonna try to get it back in shape with tonight or tomorrow. I plan on putting in some hotcams before spring so I can throw out that decomp lever, and I fully intend on putting a 445-450 big bore on it eventually, but that may wait until next winter. The 426 has enough power, but for a street bike a few more hp definitely wouldn't hurt. Before I get too serious with the mods it needs a few random things like an ignition/key, a new battery so the lights don't go out when I pull in the clutch, a switch so the brake light comes on when I use the front brake light, and then some things to clean it up a little like a sticker kit, a headlight that wasn't designed with crayons, some led signals and stuff like that.

It is a 2001 also, I've definitely heard about the 2000 crankshafts being a pain.

mxnborder: Your truck looks amazing. I try my best to buy things with color because for so long everything I owned was black, but everything just looks so good that way.
