PismoFlyBoy here-- Trying to improve MPG on my new 2011 Toyota Tacoma, Double Cab, 4.0 Engine.

Question. has anyone in Taco land bought and installed a Hydrogen Generator from the Mileage Shop? Do they work as advertised? any information will be appreciated.

According to a spokesman for the American Automobile Association, "All of these devices look like they could probably work for you, but let me tell you they don't." These devices are in violation of the first and second laws of thermodynamics.

This is also not the first thread on TW to have these devices mentioned. Here are some links to save you from searching, although I'm sure a more thorough search may turn up more.

I just hate to see people get sucked in by charlatans and frauds peddling their snake oil.

Welcome to the site and 16 mpg. There is no magical product that increases fuel mileage to lofty heights. Air up your tires, adjust your driving habits and hope that you see a slight improvement over what is posted on the EPA sheet.

I would look into maybe getting an aftermarket flux capacitor?

Drive like your not angry, High-Octane Fuel, and Rolling the front two windows down. That combined with my driving habits has granted me 17-19mpg city.

    Welcome from SC!

Only one thing you mentioned will increase fuel economy... Higher octane fuel will grant you nothing. And what would the purpose of rolling the front two windows down be?

Windows open hurt mpg's, it's actually more efficient to run the A/C system at that point

Hey welcome to TW, Hydrogen is actually a great source of fuel but more for homes and stuff, theres a guy names Michael Stizki and his house and cars are powered by this form of fuel, safer on the environment, safer then propane, gas etc and burns CLEAN , but its super expensive. try look him up
