I am a bit confused, is the blackout related to California gun laws and politics, or do you complete all paragraphs with that sentence?

Fucking Arizonaians! Had to be them that caused this whole thing!

“This was not a deliberate act. The employee was just switching out a piece of equipment that was problematic,” said Daniel Froetscher, a vice president at Arizona Public Service Co.

He was replacing a bad monitoring station and fucked everything up! What a dumbass! I sure hope he got fired for this one!:rolleyes:

I'd hate to be that guy right now...especially if they leaked his name...there were quite a few people upset about missing the first game of the season...

X2. My father is an electrical engineer and he is one of the people tiring to fix the problem.

They try to put the blame on one person and it doesn't work

It is impossible for one guy too do it. There are way to many safety devices and protocols.

Media sucks and not telling the whole story.

Did you know Mexico provides power to US ???

Ever go out past Ocotillo (on I-8) and perhaps along Hwy. 98, towards Calexico... and see those huge power lines?

They go north from the new power plant we had built in Mexico (near Signal Mountain, west of Mexicali) to provide more power to us...

You see, a power plant can be built just across the border, in Mexico... at a fraction of the time and expense it takes to build one in the U.S.... You know why?

How about rediculous regulations dumped on top of already safe and clean technology, and they still need to appease the libs... who will only be happy when blackouts are a normal thing and America sinks into being a second or third class economy (that they are hard working at making us).

Mexico also produces clean geo-thermal energy from the Cerro Prieto field, south of Mexicali... But, like wind or solar, it can only provide a fraction of the people's needs.

As we can see, without electricity our way of living is severly handicapped.
