FYI Toyota has come out with new "SPRING SQUEAK" repair.
Just saw it in passing running out the door.
Didn't see it posted but if it was I apologize.

Like i said i didn't see if it was posted so i threw it out :)

No whip. I work for a dealer and saw it on my desk as i was running out the door today. I didn't have a chance to scan through it.

    Thanks OZ. :)

I said a while ago they were working on a new fix. So i guess they think this will be the one. Maybe they got the idea from here....

Ordered the kit for warranty installation this morning. Never did get the problem resolved on my wife's 2005. Hope this fixes the squeak on her 2011.

I just called my local dealer. I do have a documented squeak, however, at the time (a few months ago), the dealer said there was no fix.

Awaiting a returned phone call with hopefully good news.

I have done some things that were 3/36 and customers had service contracts and they covered it. Of course it all depends on contract etc but It sure don't hurt to ask.

Check your nuts of the U bolts of leaf pack. if the nuts loose retied them or you may need to change locking washers to stop the squeak . I got the squeak on my truck, found out nuts loosen I retied them but still hear the squeak after a week and I change locking washers , now no more squeak .

Just called them again this morning. The woman i spoke to on the phone tried to argue "We do not warranty TSB's until they become a recall" and then some other BS about if there was an issue, it would be tied to the VIN.

I said "that would be true IF it were a recall, however, TSB's are not tied to the VIN #"

So.....i asked to speak to someone who isnt delirious, spoke to a service manager, and they set up the appointment to get the truck in.

Hopefully this time i see a result other than "we dont know how to fix it" LOL
