    Has anyone done hood struts on their first gen? I broke my hood prop when I was inspecting the truck before I bought it, lol.

    I have redline tuning hood struts on mine...they work great! :thumbsup:

    i have the plain ole quicklift struts

    theres some drilling...but its minor...and easy

    i have them on my truck also..I highly reccommend them. The instructions are so good, they almost do the work for you.

    I also reccomend going for the elite system. Its more money, but its all polished stainless i think..looks better, IMO
