I've never heard of this. I'm familiar with DTR (dead to rights), but never heard DRT

Ive mostly heard it as "Dissregard Tape" from my uncles, but a few weeks ago, we found a dead guy on a job site, and one of the leo said "DRT" and pointed to the body. Then I heard a couple others say "dead right there" and point, so i kinda figured that was it. Maybe a couple of our LEO members could chime in on this.

    neglect, mostly.
it's supposed to be DOA (dead on arrival) but DRT is always the funny (unprofessional however) way to say it among police and fireman. . . in my case volunteer fd. been hearing it for years.

Not false, because there are several spiders named after famous people. Steven Colbert, David Bowie, Neil Young, etc..........
