    in case anyone missed it,

    lower ball joint unbolted from spindle, got it back on but brake line had to much stress, and now theirs air in lines, and i have no brakes, again.

    yeah, loctite, i torqed em beyond spec but they still came loose. so far only fatalities are my breaks (lines) and cv axle tore out and ripped boot. life time warranty so hopefully they dont ask to many questions. Hey seth any pointers on that one?

    Go to the dysart autozone they return everything and I would just say you were detailing your truck and noticed the torn boot. Try calling ahead also and see what they say. Are your brake lines under warranty also?

    no they came with the truck. I'm getting steelies to replace em though for a good deal so no worries.

    well, i gotta get creative, cause i had to pop half of the boot off to get the cv half shaft part back on, sooo, maybe ill try and reassemble before i take it back.


    do they rent brake pumps?

    Either reassemble it or call ahead and let them know you had issues when taking it off so it'll be disassembled. I think they rent the pump but it's been awhile since I've worked there so the loaner tools may have changed

    How could you not have used loctite???!!!!
    That coulda happened on the freeway.. I'm pretty sure installation instruction mandates it?
    anyway, im glad it didn't cause an accident and I'm going to put MORE loctite on mine, maybe even go buy the higher stuff than the blue an redo it...

    then I'm going to blame brian because its obviously his fault!

    no instructions, old bolts didnt have any so yeah. And i dont even own any loctite, dont generally ever use it.

    I used red on all of my bolts on my suspension. Its a good idea to use the high strength on any parts like that. Blue is not intended for high load and vibes
