I was looking at other threads and not sure which I want to go with...
Here's what ive narrowed it down to....

~Brembo Blanks or Centric Blanks.. (no need for slotted rotors)
~and either Hawk LTS Pads or the Centric Ceramic pads that wheelers has.

    Thanks for some help/input. :)

I will be getting my brake fluid flushed as well, not ganna do SS lines just yet...

    Ok.....

So Ive picked my Pads. Going with the Hawk LTS pads, had them on my 02 tacoma and they are pretty good..

Im just not sure I should go with Brembo Blanks or Centric Blanks.... there both a premium Rotor Brembo's are spendier ofcourse...
    Anyone use the Centric's?

My brother loves the centrics on his jeep. He has black magic pads. He can easily lock up his 33's and the only thing he has done to the brakes is pads and rotors.

How much are the Centric? I was going to go with LTS hawks and Brembo whenever mine are due.

My reason is I tow and the brakes arent bad, but they could use some improvements.

I have 499XX miles on my truck right now. I have no idea when the brakes or if they have ever been changed yet. I bought it with 36K miles.

    *edit*
Just found Brembo rotors for less than $50 shipped for 07 Tacoma. Are there any manufac markings to confirm they are actually Brembos and not counterfeit?

There sapose to be a good Rotor.
    nothing but good reviews.

I will see when they are installed next weekend...
I think these rotors matched with either Hawk pads or EBC pads will work great...

Breaks are way better!!! I love the Hawk LTS pads, they stop smoother and quicker..
I still have to get my fluid flushed, which will be done next weekend. I think that will help stiffen up my peddle a bit.. its stilll kinda soft.

    Nope! nothing..

I dont have to press so hard on the brake pedal to slow down any more. It stops great now!

Install was a peice of cake! theres a DIY on the site somewhere...
I just had my local les schwabby do the brake flush and bleed.

brakes are way better but I still would like my peddle stiffer.. but its ok for now.

I have been doing research on all these parts myself, not sure if i want to spend the money for the rotora big brake kit yet.

PLEASE PLEASE keep us up to date as to how they feel, what you think of the new parts!!!

    Thanks!!!

The Parts/Brakes stop alot better then factory stuff, that had 65k miles on them.

I still think it could be better, some SS Brake Lines help a bit in performance. but for me, my needs, it stops pretty good...
