Maybe they won't have the shaky steering wheel on rough roads

It would be logical to expect all TSBs except the 4-leaf pack to be incorporated into the 2012s.

MSRP was $31,948. Note that it is a Long bed and the Entune adds $1930 over and above the Sport Package. I'd say $1388 below MSRP isn't bad for a vehicle that hasn't even hit the lot yet. Regardless-I'm happy with it. Just posting my info here to arm others with good data going forward.

    Cheers,

    HT

HopTaco, I like your thought process and it makes sense for all of us to be a better informed buyer when it comes down to it. That being said, realize that there's obviously PLENTY of '12 haters out there; thus, you could pay $5k for the fully loaded "I want EVERYTHING" model and people will still tell you it was a waste of money so be prepared and take it with a grain of salt.

As for me, I haven't put a deposit down yet but the dealer is a friend and the truck is mine! I don't quite have a quote for a price yet, but I was told it would come down to under $34K+tax/lic/etc. and that's for the DC/LB/4x4/TRD upgrade package in Southern California. The sale person said it would be $500 above "invoice."

Hope that's what you were lookin for Hop... Soon enough we'll be the toast of the town! Obviously not everyone will agree, but I DON'T CARE!!! Maybe we should start a '12 haters thread to keep the negative vibes out of this one??

Edit: The package I'm getting does include Entune/Nav etc.. it's pretty much the "I want everything" model.

    Unmodded and staying that way.
i think i will be keeping my 2010 for awhile. will happily trade if they offer sunroof and heated mirrors tho. would actually like to see them put the new 4.6 as an option. i think it would probably increase highway mpg too. the V8 would sound so much better than the 6. miss that sound so much.

does anyone have any pics for the 2012 trd Sport from the front. I've seen the one in the brochure, but want to see some more pics of the mirror's, color grille and of course the SCOOP! :crapstorm:

Really still liking the shift lever, gauge cluster and blue lighting in the interior. Guess I'll hold off on that mod for now. Turn signals integrated into the mirror would be cool, but I am super relieved I got a 2011 Timberland Mica before they got rid of that color. That new green is a bit fugly IMO.
