too many clutches!

    6 inch Fabtech suspension lift 2 inch body lift K&N cool air intake custom headers Mossy Oak upolstry Wheels and Tires
    so i have a 97 taco with the 2.7 and my release bearing crapped the bed, so im planning on ordering a clutch kit real soon. the problem is idk which brands are good and which are junk. i dont need top quality but something affordable, can anyone help me?

    Their site says 259 and it includes pilot and release beaarings. OEM is in the 300s w/out the bearings. Get the MC clutch.

    whats the difference from a regular release bearing and a japanese release bearing?

    You can get the OEM from rockauto (with the bearings) for $200 without the 5% member discount. (shipping extra)

    It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
    If you need a cheap but good clutch on the fly, Amazon has Exedys for like $120 or 125.

    I put one in my 2wd Tacoma..GREAT CLUTCH if you install it right.
    No problems at all.
    It's an entire kit. Pressure plate, clutch disc, pilot bearing, throwout bearing.


    I have another Exedy sitting right next to me right now for my 4WD though.
