    Hey guys, so I went to Bel-Air Shells in Garden Grove today and I was the guy was really nice (Jeff) and he suggested the "Superior" Shell for my 2012 Long bed Taco (soon to be). The breakdown was;

    $989 - Shell (carpet/light included)
    $99 - Drop front
    $84 - Tax
    $43 - Installation (he said this was half price for Law Enforcement)
    --------------------------
    $1215 - Out the door price

    Is this reasonable? and has anyone heard of a "Superior" shell or Bel-Air Shells in Garden Grove? They said the paint warranty was 5 years and lifetime for the product itself. Is there another place I should be checking out for a better price?

    Ultimately I'm looking for as cheap as possible but halfway decent (or at least a good warranty). Below is the pic of the shell. Thanks in advanced!

    Bump.. I'm probably gonna get this if no one tells me it's a bad deal or there's a better deal to be had.

    Never heard of company but seems like a fair price.i can't see dropping $3k on some caps. It's so hard to find them used at all,never mind the right color.

    They seem to start at about a grand. Never heard of the make that you are considering, but if it's got a good warranty, go for it.

    Mine was 1600 bucks for a leer, but it has side opening windows that were 300 bucks by themselves.

    Thanks for the input guys. I'll probably go with this on the basis of a lifetime warranty.

    Never heard of the brand (doesn't mean anything, I'm on the east coast) but that sounds like a great price on a new shell. The cheapest I've found them new was around $1,200 up here also. I say go for it, and make sure you put up a review of the new brand for others considering it.
